Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a Cypress, Texas assignment. The role focuses on orthopedic and general surgical nursing in a fast-paced unit, with a 13-week contract and 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and proven orthopedic nursing experience; robotics experience with Da Vinci is a plus. Expect benefits, housing and travel support from ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in orthopedic surgeries is mandatory.
• Preferred experience with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the surgical unit.
• Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
