Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Aiken, South Carolina. This position requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, active RN license, BLS & ACLS, and a 36-hour week with 12-hour day shifts over 13 weeks.
You will join a Joint Commission-certified agency offering weekly pay, housing options or allowance, credentialing fee coverage, health insurance, life and disability coverage, travel reimbursement, 401(k) matching,
Qualifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
- The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
- Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
- Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
