Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Devils Lake, North Dakota. You will operate in a dynamic perioperative environment, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS/CNOR and other certifications are preferred. Travel and benefits packages are provided by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning patients and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Anticipates team needs and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition and notifies the surgeon of changes.
• Documents care in the perioperative setting.
• Participates in handoff communication pre- and post-operatively.
• Cleans and restocks the OR between cases following protocol.
