Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Silver City, NM. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, with RN first assistant optional. Expect 36 hours per week, 9-hour night shifts, and travel benefits.

The travel RN will support perioperative care, patient education, and instrument handling while collaborating with surgeons and teams in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Support circulating, scrubbing, or first assistant roles as assigned.
