Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an operating room travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. The 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts, starting 10/25/2026, with travel support and a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include perioperative nursing care, collaboration with surgical teams, and monitoring intraoperative status. RN licensure in Kansas or a compact license and BLS certification are required, with float to all ORs as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Willingness to float to all ORs and work night shifts.
• Proficiency in ENT, Neuro, or surgical oncology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room for designated specialties.
• Assist surgical teams and anesthesia providers; prepare instruments, drape patients, manage equipment and supplies.
• Monitor intraoperative patient status and anesthesia levels; respond to changes.
• Administer medications per protocol and document perioperative events.
