TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The OR travel nurse will assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients, provide pre- and post-surgery education, and manage surgical instruments and supplies. This role requires OR experience and BLS, with 1 year of acute care as circulating or scrub RN preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS required for OR travel assignment.
• 1 year of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN.
• Operating room experience including instrument handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education to patients.
• Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications.
• Deliver direct surgical care and support the operating team.
