Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Lebanon, NH. The RN will provide perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and high-quality patient care.

The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR are preferred. Travel benefits and 40-hour weeks are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Other licenses and certifications may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments, equipment and sterile supplies
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols
• Anticipates surgical team needs and provides instruments and supplies promptly
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes
• Handles instruments and supplies and ensures proper sterilization
• Manages specimen collection and transport per protocols
• Documents all perioperative care accurately
• Participates in handoffs during pre- and post-op phases
• Assists in OR turnover and restocking
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and PPE usage
