Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lone Tree, CO. The OR RN will support perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements include 1 year of OR experience, active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/CNOR are preferred. Travel compensation includes weekly pay and comprehensive benefits for travelers.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications are preferred.
• OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring all required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Monitors the patient's condition during surgery and notifies the surgeon of significant changes.
• Documents all aspects of patient care in the perioperative setting accurately.
