American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a Washington, DC assignment. Requires a DC RN license (active or pending) and at least 2 years of OR experience. 36 hours/week across 12-hour day shifts with on-call duties.

Travel position with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and per diem. Orientation and travel reimbursements provided. Local candidates within 60 miles encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Active DC RN license in hand, or proof of pending DC license at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in general OR, bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedic, and urology procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Position is in a hospital Operating Room setting.
• Covers a broad range of surgical cases including bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedics, and urology.
• Special procedures include total joints, spine, craniotomy, free flaps, cytoreduction, bariatric, and ENT/OMF surgeries.
• Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:30.
• Required to float to units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
• On-call required, 6 calls per 6 week schedule.

DC RN license (active or pending)

BLS certification

ACLS certification preferred
