Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Redding, CA. The role supports perioperative care from room setup to post-operative handoff, with a focus on patient safety and efficient workflow.

Requirements include 1 year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications (ACLS/PALS/ENPC/CNOR) enhance opportunities for advancement and pay packages.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year operating room RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and safety throughout surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control per protocol.
• Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team as needed.
• Document patient care and perioperative details accurately.
• Participate in handoff communication between pre- and post-operative care.
