Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for Memphis, TN. The role involves circulating or scrub nursing in the OR, with an expected 13-week assignment and 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts.

Immediate openings for nurses with acute care OR experience and a focus on patient education and safety. The OR travel nurse will support pre- and post-operative care, coordinate with the surgical team, and ensure correct procedures and patient education are delivered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Act as liaison between patients’ families and operating team.
