Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Start Date: 10/05/2026.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, rotating as needed. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, manage surgical equipment, and support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care.

Qualifications

• One year of operating room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in CT and BLS certification.
• Ability to work 40-hour weeks in a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and maintaining sterile technique.
• Manage surgical equipment and instrument counts.
• Support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
• Document perioperative care and communicate with team members.
