Job summary

TravelNurseSource is seeking an operating room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for Bozeman, MT to support surgical teams in rotating 12-hour shifts on an 8-week contract. Start date is ASAP with a weekly pay of $2,081.

The OR RN will provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe outcomes and high-quality care for patients in the operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative preparation and assessment of patient histories to develop care plans.
• Intraoperative nursing care including sterile technique and equipment readiness.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and maintaining aseptic conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with anesthesia induction and maintenance.
• Postoperative care and PACU transfer with pain management and monitoring.
• Accurate documentation and effective communication with the surgical team.
