Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Largo, Maryland. The assignment is a Hospital contract, 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12 hour shifts.

The RN must hold an MD state license with BLS; ACLS preferred. Three years of OR experience, including robotics, and the ability to scrub/circulate are required. Epic EMR experience and on-call rotations are expected, with floating within the specialty as needed.

Qualifications

• RN with MD state license and BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• 3 years OR experience; 2 years considered with strong background.
• Strong general OR and robotics experience; scrub/circulate.
• Level II Trauma center experience; Epic EMR.
• Rotating on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays; floating within specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a Level II Trauma center.
• Assist with a variety of general and specialized surgical procedures, including trauma, uro, ortho, robotics, gyn, podiatry, neuro, ENT, and vascular surgeries.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure coverage within departmental needs.
• Float to other departments or facilities as required to ensure patient care continuity.
• Adhere to hospital and department protocols during surgical procedures and patient care.
