Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Powell, Tennessee. This 13‑week assignment starts ASAP with a Tue–Fri 6:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule; on‑call one night weekly 7:00 PM–6:30 AM and every other weekend nights.

Responsibilities include scrubbing and supporting General, Ortho, ENT, Plastics, Robotics and Urology; candidates should have RN license with BLS/ACLS and at least 1 year OR experience (robotic preferred). Cerner EMR proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience; robotic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the OR.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 6-bed OR.
• Effectively use Cerner EMR.

This position offers a schedule of Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a requirement for on‑call duty one night per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM, as well as every other weekend from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will join a fast‑paced Operating Room setting. Responsibilities include assisting with various surgical specialties such as General, Ortho, ENT, Plastics, Robotics, and Urology. Candidates must be able to scrub and ideally possess experience with robotic surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high‑quality nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 6‑bed OR environment.
• Effectively utilize EMR systems, specifically Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Willingness to submit permanent home address and comply with submission guidelines.
