Job summary

TravelNurseSource is seeking an ORRN for a 16-week travel assignment in Duluth, GA, through Fusion Medical Staffing. You will support perioperative care in a facility in Duluth and enjoy competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires 1 year of OR experience, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC/CNOR are preferred. You will prepare the OR, maintain sterility, assist with positioning, document care, and collaborate with the surgical team.

Qualifications

  • One year of recent OR RN experience.
  • Active RN license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
  • Preferred: ACLS, PALS, ENPC or CNOR certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating room and ensure sterility for each procedure.
  • Position patients for surgery and ensure comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
  • Anticipate needs of the surgical team and provide instruments promptly.
  • Document perioperative care and participate in handoff communications.
  • Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases.
