Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at UCHealth Anschutz in Aurora. The role offers a 72-hour per pay period schedule (2 weeks) with day shifts and a $60.00 per hour pay rate plus a travel package/stipend.

13-week assignments are available, with a focus on direct patient care and perioperative responsibilities. Minimum requirements include CO RN license or eNLC privileges, ACLS and BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• CO RN license or eNLC privileges
• 1 year nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer) with card in-hand before start date

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope direct patient care using the nursing process
• Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve outcomes
• Prioritizes wellness and patient-centered care
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff and trainees
• Maintains safety and quality at the point of care
• Perioperative support including PACU or Operating Room care and adherence to core curriculum standards
