Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour days and travel-friendly shift patterns. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse and may include RN First Assistant duties.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Compensation details are provided upon assignment; benefits include weekly pay and a range of travel

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Maintain communication between patient families and operating room team.
• Ensure correct procedures on the correct patient and monitor for complications.
