Cross Country Nurses seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Templeton, California. The role involves professional nursing functions in surgery, with occasional Scrub Tech duties, and coordination of patient care in a serene community setting.

Requirements include RN license in CA, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 3 months, plus 6+ months OR experience. Rotation of 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly; travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Six or more months OR experience in Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement patient care in the OR setting.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care; function as Scrub Tech when needed.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in discharge planning and staff training as required.
