Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an OR RN for travel assignments in Summit, New Jersey. This role requires 12-hour evening shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel contract up to 13 weeks. Start ASAP with opportunities across top hospitals and surgical centers nationwide.

The OR RN will provide perioperative care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring sterile environments and supporting surgical teams to achieve successful operations. Active RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment
• Monitor patients during surgery and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• Document all intraoperative care and maintain accurate records
• Ensure equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and available
