Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Charleston, West Virginia. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and a chance to work in a dynamic perioperative environment.

Required: one year OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred: ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO after 1560 hours, 401(k) matching, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensure instruments and equipment are ready for procedures.
• Assists in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field during surgery.
• Monitors patient condition and documents changes for the surgical team.
• Handles instruments, supplies, and specimen labeling per protocols.
• Participates in handoffs and cleans/restocks the OR between cases.
