TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for Hendersonville, TN. The role covers circulating, scrub, and potential RN First Assistant duties in a 13‑week travel assignment with 40 hours weekly on 10‑hour day shifts.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in the OR, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a valid RN license in good standing. Duties include patient care, instrument handling, and perioperative education.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• RN First Assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and support to surgical patients.
• Assist physicians and staff in caring for patients during surgery.
• Deliver pre- and post-surgery education to patients and families.
• Prepare instruments, monitor equipment, and maintain sterile field.
