American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires Level I trauma experience, valid IN license, and BLS certification, with a 12-hour day shift and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include circulating in the OR across multiple surgical specialties, with on-call and holiday coverage, and potential floating to affiliate facilities. Cerner EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active IN or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience, with at least 2 years in Level I trauma OR equivalent.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted).
• Experience circulating in the OR required; scrub experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Prior Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate in the OR of a short-term acute care hospital.
• Care for general surgery, plastics, GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro, ortho, GU, and colorectal robotics patients.
• Day shift 3x12 hours, 11:00–23:30; on-call shifts within 6 weeks.
• Floating within hospital or affiliate hospitals as needed; OR RNs floated to various specialties.
• Scrubs provided; travel and licensure reimbursements offered.
