Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Augusta, GA. You will provide perioperative care, assist with patient positioning, instrument handling, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include one year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications such as CNOR, ACLS, PALS may be considered.

Qualifikationen

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Aufgaben

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Provides instruments, supplies, and support to the surgical team to maintain workflow.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
• Handles instrument sterilization and disposal according to facility protocols.
• Manages specimen collection and transport per protocols.
• Documents all perioperative care activities accurately.
• Participates in handoff communication pre- and post-operatively.
• Assists in cleaning and restocking the OR between cases.
