Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, WA. This nights role offers a 3x12 schedule with $2,507 per week.

As the OR RN on assignment, you will circulate cases, verify patients and counts, participate in time-outs, and uphold sterile technique from setup through handoff to recovery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• Active Washington RN License.
• Travel nursing assignment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for surgical procedures and, when trained and assigned, perform the scrub role across assigned service lines.
• Advocate for patient safety under anesthesia, verifying required consent and site documentation and participating in surgical time-outs.
• Monitor and protect the sterile field, performing and reconciling instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with the perioperative team.
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs, managing supplies, equipment, positioning, and specimen handling per facility protocol.
