Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Arizona. The role requires circulating OR experience, an active AZ or Compact RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS and PALS are preferred.

Typical 10-hour days with one weekday off per week. Responsibilities include circulating in a Level 3 trauma facility with 4 ORs, no floating, and use of Allscripts EMR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience
• Circulating OR experience required

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a Level 3 trauma facility featuring 4 operating rooms
• Circulate-only role with typical 1:1 patient ratios
• Case types include General, Orthopedic, Neuro, OB‑GYN, and ENT
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 10-hour shifts
• One weekday off per week
• Weekend and call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview
• No floating required
• Uses Allscripts EMR
• Blue scrubs provided by the hospital
• 24/7 in-house pharmacy available
• Orientation held every Monday with 8 hours allotted
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 per 13-week assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
