Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulator RN for a critical access hospital in Vermont. VT or compact license and BLS are required; 2+ years in OR with orthopedic circulation is preferred. Travel nursing experience and own vehicle are needed. Assignment length is 13 weeks with demanding on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Active VT RN license or compact license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong circulator experience with orthopedic cases required.
• At least 3 months of travel nursing experience required.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• Skills checklist for Operating Room current within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating support for general surgery and orthopedic procedures.
• Work in a critical access hospital setting within the OR department.
• Handle listed surgical cases and procedures.
• Meet day shift schedule: Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with 9-hour shifts.
• Cover one weekend per month and holidays as needed.
• On-call 10 shifts per month, with night hours and rotating holidays.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Adhere to time-off requests at profile submission; limited RTO.
• First-time travelers may be considered with 3+ months travel experience.
