Qualifications

• Ability to travel between multiple sites as needed.
• Proven proficiency with surgical counts, instrument and sponge tracking.
• Demonstrated aseptic technique and infection control compliance.
• Excellent communication with surgeons and OR team; effective handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care as a Travel RN‑OR Circulator in California.
• Ensure patient safety and aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure.
• Manage surgical count, instrument, and sponge tracking to prevent errors.
• Coordinate intraoperative workflow with surgical team to optimize efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with surgeons and team members to anticipate needs.
