Job Summary

Surgical Technician, Operating Room Technician (ORT) will support surgical procedures across a range of specialties in an operating room setting. The position requires current experience in general, gynecological, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, neurological, and trauma procedures, along with the ability to precept. This is a daytime position scheduled for 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. On-call rotation and every-other-weekend coverage are required, with holiday coverage as needed. Block scheduling is not available.
• Assignment Dates: 12/28/2026 through 03/29/2027.
• Required Qualifications: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); 5 years of current surgical technologist experience; proficiency in general, gynecological, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic procedures including total joints, neurological head and spine, and trauma procedures; ability to precept.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cesarean sections, ear, nose, and throat procedures, plastic surgery, and Da Vinci robotic procedures.
