Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in Salinas, California. The ORT assists the surgical team by scrub and/or circulating during procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, maintaining asepsis, preparing instruments, and supporting efficient case turnover.

The role requires at least 1 year of Surgical Technician experience in a surgery center and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technician training program.
• Current BLS certification per AHA standards.
• Minimum 1 year clinical Surgical Technician experience in a surgery center.
• Scrub skills for General Gyn and GU surgery are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team as scrub and/or circulating during procedures under RN supervision.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and prepare instruments/equipment.
• Support efficient case turnover and patient care across relevant ages.
