Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an operating room travel nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This assignment features 10-hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, and a 13-week duration with travel status.

The RN will support circulating, scrub, or RN First Assistant roles, requiring 1-2 years acute care experience and certifications (BLS/ACLS). Immediate start with a competitive pay package and benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse or RN first assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications in collaboration with the surgeon.
• Manage instruments and supplies for procedures as applicable (circulating/scrub/RNFA).
