Olaro is seeking a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team in North Adams, Massachusetts. This assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts beginning 12/29/2025, in a travel capacity.

The OR nurse will prepare the operating room, ensure patient identity and sterile technique, assist surgeons, and work closely with anesthesiologists and techs. Active RN license and BLS are required; 3+ years OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience; 3+ years OR circulation experience preferred.

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and confident Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join our surgical services team. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting patients through surgical procedures—before, during, and after the operation—ensuring safety, precision, and comfort at every step.

Your primary responsibilities will include preparing the operating room and surgical instruments, verifying patient identity and surgical site, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons throughout procedures. You may serve as a scrub nurse, directly handling instruments, or as a circulating nurse, managing workflow and documentation while advocating for the patient.

This role requires strong critical thinking, technical skill, and a calm demeanor under pressure. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs, often working long hours in high-stakes situations where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount.

3+ years current OR Circulate experience ENDO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular and Bariatric Surgical experience required Meditech Expanse experience strongly0preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
