ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The role supports a Level-1 Adult Trauma and Level-2 Pediatric Trauma center, featuring 14 multi-specialty OR suites and 24/7 operations.

You will scrub and circulate across specialties, maintain patient safety, and participate in staff education. Requires 3+ years OR RN experience, NY RN license, BLS; CNOR a plus. Travel reimbursement and lodging assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ RN experience in an Operating Room.
• Preferred trauma and diverse surgical service experience.
• Current BLS certification and NY State RN Licensure required.
• CNOR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during multiple surgical specialties (General, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and more).
• Provide trauma care with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.
• Mentor staff and participate in training as needed.

Join our team at a major academic medical center specializing in Level-1 Adult Trauma and Level-2 Pediatric Trauma. The Operating Room features 14 multi-specialty suites operational 24/7. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to provide care in our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during various surgical specialties including General Surgery, Urology, GYN, Robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Xi), Plastics, Pediatric surgeries, Orthopedics, Thoracic, and Neurosurgery.
• Provide trauma care with a focus on collaboration and patient safety.
• Assist in the education and training of team members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting.
• Preferred experience in trauma and various surgical services.
• Current BLS certification and New York State RN Licensure required.
• CNOR certification is a plus.
