Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care, including circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures such as GI, robotics, general surgery, thoracic, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and plastics. The role requires flexibility to float to other units as needed and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 5x8 hour shifts, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license with at least 2 years of GI experience, including circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes. Experience in handling scopes for GI, robotics, general surgery, thoracic, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and plastics.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with complex surgical procedures and scopes in an OR setting.
• Additional Information: Position start date is 10/05/2026, with an anticipated end date of 01/04/2027. The role involves working in a facility with approximately 150 beds, and scrubbing duties include handling scopes for diverse surgical cases. Scrub color is hospital-provided and dress code details will be provided. The EMR utilized is Cerner. The position is created to fill a vacancy and is based on a 13-week assignment.
