Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a busy hospital setting. The role involves circulating cases, assisting with turnover cleaning, transporting patients, and scheduling procedures across various specialties including general, orthopedic, vascular, ophthalmic, urology, ENT, endoscopy, robotic, obstetrics, and gynecology. Candidates should have a minimum of two to three years of circulating experience in a hospital environment. Ability to scrub cases is preferred, and current BLS and State of Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license are required.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, operating from Monday through Friday between 0645 and 2315 hours. Travelers will be scheduled for 36 hours per week; schedule may vary based on department needs. Call coverage is 24/7, with each nurse scheduled for approximately 1-2 call shifts per week and up to 2 weekends per month. Must be within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for call back.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, State of Hawaii RN license, 2 to 3 years minimum circulating experience in a hospital OR setting, ability to assist with various surgical procedures and equipment.
• Additional Information: Orientation on day shift for up to 1 week or at managers discretion. Must complete at least 39 shifts during the contract unless approved for time off. Candidates should arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment. The position is in a small but high-volume OR with 6 suites, including one dedicated to C-sections, operating with 4 to 6 rooms simultaneously.
