Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a versatile surgical unit located in the healthcare organization. The role involves supporting orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgeries, with responsibilities including case cart pulling, family updates, and assisting after-hours recovery nurses. The position requires a proactive team player capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, 1 year of experience (or more), and current licensure as a registered nurse. Prior Meditech experience and previous experience within a healthcare organization are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record systems and prior experience in a healthcare organization setting.
• Float: Not applicable
• Additional Information: The unit features four operating rooms and a staff of 5-6 nurses per shift, supporting various surgical procedures including robotic, laparoscopic, open, and orthopedic surgeries. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, proactive workflow, and the ability to work well with a team. Responsibilities also include providing family updates, supporting case cart pulling, and assisting during recovery. Full-time call rotation is expected, covering approximately five shifts including weekends and evenings.
