Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This position involves providing care in a hospital setting with a focus on neurosurgery, including spine, brain, and other general, orthopedic, robotic, urology, and plastic surgeries. The role requires strong OR experience and compliance with hospital protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, 2+ years of OR experience in an acute care hospital setting, neurosurgery experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH certification are essential.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience, Meditech electronic documentation system experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves high-volume neuro and general surgical procedures, including craniotomies, orthopedics, robotic surgeries, Urology, plastics, and transplant surgeries. The facility utilizes advanced equipment such as Davinci XI robots, Globus, Mako, microscopes, and other OR tools. The unit has 17 beds, including CVOR and transplant units, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1. Adherence to dress code and uniform policies is essential, including scrubs provided by the facility, neat grooming, and body art coverage.
