Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel RN Oncology for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, AZ. The position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and a flexible schedule, including chemotherapy administration and comprehensive oncology patient care.

Applicants must hold an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent acute care oncology experience; client facility requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients; administer chemotherapy and monitor progress.
• Create supportive environment and assist in educating patients about treatment options.
• May specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
