Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Oncology RN for a Seattle, WA assignment. See details: 13-week travel contract, start 10/26/2026, 36 hours/week, 12-hour nights. The RN will care for cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, and monitor progress in an acute care oncology setting.
Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS, and at least 18 months of oncology experience are required. MedPro offers comprehensive benefits and travel reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Active RN License.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS & ACLS Certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase.
- Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
- Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and particularities of the disease.
- Care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients and monitor progress.
