TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. This Oncology RN role is a 14-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and must hold BLS and chemo certifications. You will coordinate treatment plans, educate patients, and support families while ensuring safety and high-quality care in a travel nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans for oncology patients
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking
• Monitor patient progress under physician supervision
• Administer chemotherapy as prescribed and monitor for adverse effects
• Ensure safety and infection control in multiple settings
