Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN in Oncology Med Surg for an outpatient infusion center in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will hold oncology nursing experience, BLS, and chemotherapy certification, and be available for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include IV treatments in a 65-chair infusion center, no on-call shifts, and travel requirements with a 50-mile radius restriction. Holidays are required during winter.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Oncology and bone marrow transplant experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center
• Provide intravenous treatments to a varied patient population, including oncology and bone marrow transplant cases
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) during the winter assignment
• Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being eligible as a traveler
• First time travelers will be considered but must meet all requirements
• Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after offer
