Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment in Ahoskie, NC. You will provide specialized nursing care to cancer patients, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Oncology RN experience, an active NC RN license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of Oncology RN experience.
• Active RN license in good standing (NC).
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about oncology procedures and treatments.
• Administer prescribed oncology medications and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain oncology equipment for treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort, safety, and side effects; intervene as needed.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes clearly.
