Qualifications
- 1 year of recent experience as an Oncology RN.
- Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families about oncology procedures and treatments.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain oncology equipment.
- Monitor and address patients' comfort, safety, and side effects.
- Record and monitor patient conditions and responses in medical records.
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Develop patient education plans for cancer treatment and self-care.
