Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Oncology RN for a travel assignment in New Haven, Connecticut. This 13-week travel nursing job requires 36 hours per week and 9-hour day shifts, with an ASAP start.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care oncology experience and current chemotherapy administration knowledge. You will coordinate treatment plans, educate patients and families, monitor progress, and participate in best-practice protocols across different settings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience in oncology or similar setting.
• CHEMO knowledge and BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of relevant RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans for oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and document care under physician supervision.
• Maintain precision with numerous details while delivering care.
• Apply best-practice treatment protocols across multiple settings.
