Job summary

TravelNurseSource is seeking a qualified Oncology RN in Independence, Missouri, to join Prime Staffing for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2+ years in oncology or infusion, active RN license, and BLS; chemotherapy/biotherapy certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in oncology or infusion preferred.
• Active RN license from state or compact.
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred.
• Experience with central lines, chemotherapy administration, and symptom management.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate oncology nursing care to patients undergoing treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families and provide emotional support.
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to plan care.
