Job summary
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Boston, MA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients with various diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, and those undergoing cellular therapies.
Flexibility to float to other oncology units is required. The position requires a valid nursing license and oncology experience, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week on a traveling
Qualifications
- Valid license/certification and oncology nursing experience.
- Experience with mixed solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, cellular therapies, blood products, and clinical trials.
- Familiarity with telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scans, and Baxter pumps.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients on the floor.
- Float to other oncology units as needed to cover staffing requirements.
- Coordinate care for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumor patients.
- Work in a 3 pod unit with 10-bed pods and 1:3 or 1:4 staffing ratios.
