MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Travel Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment. This role requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months of acute care oncology experience.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, with travel reimbursements, housing options, and benefits. Join a Joint Commission-certified agency dedicated to supporting travelers with credentialing assistance and 24/7 clinical support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and particularities of the disease
