TotalMed RN is seeking an Oncology Travel Nurse for an assignment in Atlanta, GA. The travel role lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience and BLS, with oncology background preferred. As an Oncology Travel Nurse, you will administer chemotherapy under physician direction, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of RN experience in acute care.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking.
• Be a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families.
• Attend to a great number of details while working under pressure.
