Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The RN will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, on a 13-week assignment beginning 10/26/2026.

Requires active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care Oncology experience. MedPro provides weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, private housing or housing allowance, health and disability coverage,

Qualifications

Active RN license.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certifications.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase.
Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and particularities of the disease.
