Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Oncology Travel Nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Albany, Georgia. The role focuses on Med Surg/Oncology care, administering chemotherapy under physician direction, and monitoring patient progress.

The RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant oncology certifications. Travel nurses must stand and move for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds at times, and adapt to varying care settings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Experience in oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration is preferred.
• BLS, NIH, and chemo-related certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate chemotherapy treatment plans and oncology care.
• Provide patient education and track treatment progress.
• Offer comfort and support to cancer patients and families.
